Short Film Festival against Violence to Women
A short film entitled ‘Libre directo’, directed by sevillano Bernabé Rico, was declared winner of the Short Film Festival against Violence to Women held at the Nerja Cultural Centre on Monday evening.
Local volleyballers selected for regional team
At the weekend it was First Andalucian Volleyball Meeting in Puerta de Santa Maria and four members of the Nerja Municipal Volleyball School were summoned to participate.

Very strong winds on Saturday afternoon and evening, but also very warm as it appears to have been coming from the Sahara. That gave us temperatures of 26 degrees during the evening!
Self-defence course for women
The Department of Equality is setting up a free self-defence workshop for women, an initiative linked to the upcoming International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.

Canal Sur has been recording yet another programme in Nerja, the fifth of the year, which will be broadcast on December 28th 2014.

Pocapecunia, the charity shop in aid of The Love A Child Foundation located in Calle Bella Vista 6 in Nerja, opening hours 10:00 – 13:30 will, starting from the 3rd of December, also be open on Wednesday afternoons from 15:00 to 17:00.
