OMG, OMG, OMG…

Went to the weekly market for the first time in ages – years in fact – and thought I would try some fig bread on offer at a dried fruit stall. Soooo glad I waited until I got home and didn’t begin eating on the hoof!

It is still not possible to walk beneath the Balcón de Europa from Calahonda beach to La Caletilla beach as work is still continuing to repair the problems of falling debris which occurred at the end of September.

New course for Civil Protection members

Members of the Civil Protection in Nerja are set to participate in another training course in CPR, basic life support and the use of semi-automatic defibrillators.

New lighting for Torrecilla beach

After being first announced in June, the Council has approved a project to improve street lighting at Torrecilla beach, particularly along the promenade.

Council once again asking the Junta to ‘pay up’

The Council has once again expressed its displeasure at the fact that not a single euro has arrived from the Junta de Andalucia with respect to the Youth Employment Plan, particularly as 80% of the funds come from the state and EU coffers and only have to be passed on.

La Biznaga closed for the winter months

La Biznaga on the Balcón de Europa, Nerja, is now closed for the season, reopening around Easter one would imagine if previous years are anything to go by.
