Hotel occupancy during the Feria, October 9th to 13th 2014, averaged 96% and in some cases reached 100%, according to municipal figures.

Municipal Library now open on Saturdays
In the past, the Salvador Rueda Municipal Library in Nerja has only opened on Saturdays during certain special periods, such as before school examinations or during occasional school holidays.

Exhibitions by Margaret Riordan
Local artist Margaret Riordan has two exhibitions of her work, these continuing to March 2015. One is at Bar Choto Playa, Peñoncillo beach, Torrox Costa, and another is at Restaurante Sevillano El Rincón in calle Gloria, Nerja.

The second Meson Asador de Castilla on avenida Mediterraneo, Nerja, didn’t last very long and is now La Jaima.
