Hadn’t been to Jaime’s in calle Jaén, Nerja, for a long time so decided to remedy the situation, as one does. I had a very tasty mushroom, onion, ham and garlic tapa. Small beer and a tapa, €1.50, so about average these days.
Out and About June 3rd 2014…
Quite busy in the centre of town with several tour groups arriving while I was on the Balcón de Europa and a fair number of people on the beaches.
Free summer courses
The registration period is now open for the free summer courses offered by the Nerja Municipal School of Music and Dance, the closing date being June 16th 2014.
New attempt to have rubbish dump cleared
The Council is making another attempt to get the responsible department of the Junta de Andalucia to remove the landfill in the area known as the Barranco del viejo.
Grand opening of Rafiki’s
Manny’s Bar on calle Fray Junipero Serra in Nerja has a new owner as of June 1st 2014, one Doug Turner, and the new bar is going to be called Rafiki’s – which is Swahili for ‘friends’ in case anyone was wondering.
