El Ejido Council in Almería has introduced new municipal ordinances relating to, amongst other things, prostitution, advertising leaflets and the drying of clothes. Under the new ordinance, it is forbidden to offer, solicit, negotiate or accept sexual services on the streets of the town, offenders risking a fine starting at €300.
