Noise crackdown in Benalmádena
The mayor of Benalmádena, Javier Carnero, is keen to avoid the fate which befell the municipality of Vélez-Málaga as regards noise made by bars in the area. Vélez-Málaga Council was ordered to compensate 18 local residents in Torre del Mar the sum of €156,260 each relating to excessive ‘acoustic pollution’ generated by bars in the area.
