Ronda Council has approved a 5% increase in the tax for occupation of public roads. In addition, this will now be levied based upon the area occupied rather than the number of tables and chairs.
Council urges bars and restaurants to comply with municipal ordinances
The Council, through the Finance Department, is contacting bars and restaurants that do not adhere to the municipal ordinance relating to occupation of the public roads and owe money to the Council, are exceeding their allocated space or, in some cases, both of these.
