The state-owned Paradores de Turismo have reopened ten of the hotels which were closed since January as part of cost cutting measures, these being: Ayamonte (Huelva), Cazorla (Jaén), Bielsa (Aragón), Limpias (Cantabria), Albacete, Puebla de Sanabria (Zamora), Villafranca del Bierzo (León), Verín (Ourense), Tui (Pontevedra) and Vilalba (Lugo).
Redundancies planned by the Association of Paradors
The Association of Paradors has announced the start of ERE (Employment Regulation) negotiations which are expected to result in 644 redundancies nationwide, the amendment of 856 contracts and the closure or conversion of several facilities.
