The works in calle Alejandro Bueno are, in theory at least, almost at the halfway stage. They began on October 16th with a completion period of four months. Difficult to judge progress, though.

Calle Alejandro Bueno November 18th 2011
The roadworks are still chugging along in calle Alejandro Bueno, several workers on site today including several women.
Nice motor…
Rather nice old MG being taken out for a spin yesterday.
Can just imagine it…
“Sorry sir, can’t think of any reason why you might be having trouble with the electrics in your house. All seems to be in order.”
An end to cold winters?…
With temperatures expected to fall before too long, a pioneering new Ambient Temperature Maintenance System (ATMS) is being tested in calle Cristo, Nerja.
Calle Alejandro Bueno update October 16th 2011
Calle Alejandro Bueno remains suitably dug up, the project set to last a total of four months.
Tapas at El Desvan
El Desvan on calle Pintada is a always good little stopping-off place for a tapa or two. Very nice decor in the bar and restaurant areas and they really have done a great job using the space to full advantage, the width of the place being on the small side. And there is a patio at the back.
Autumn morn…
The sun on the water in the morning makes for an interesting picture. Taking the photo into the sun removes most of the colour and makes it look more like night time than broad daylight.
