Some very good photos in this collection entitled The 27 Incredible Once In A Lifetime Shots
Out and About August 27th 2013…
Quite a cloudy start to the day but no real reduction in temperatures. Much of the cloud did clear later in the day but unsettled weather is being forecast for the next few days.
Down on El Salon beach…
Despite being totally clouded over for much of the day, still warm enough and the beaches were, naturally, packed as usual. This was El Salon beach at midday, popular as ever.
Out and About, August 11th 2013…
Quite a warm one today. The rio Chillar is very up and down at the moment. One day dry, next day flowing, then back to a trickle. Someone must be messing around with the taps.
Out and About, August 8th 2013…
The town is certainly not packed, considering it is August, but no doubt when the the official figures come out they will show record numbers of visitors. There are a lot of visitors, but nothing like in previous years.
Nice moon…
Very nice early evening moon the past few days. As well as the Virgen del Carmen procession there was the odd bit of aerial activity and it would have been Spielbergesque to get one of these guys passing in front of the moon, but it just wasn’t to be.
Virgen del Carmen 2013 procession
The Virgen del Carmen procession wound its way through town from the Balcón de Europa to Torrecilla beach, crowds lining the streets to watch the spectacle.
Great collection
There are one hundred photos in this post, as the title might suggest, and it really is a great collection of the natural, the artistic and the weird (number 74!, just keep looking at it and see what happens) Top 100 Photos of the Year 2012
Midnight meander…
Midnight and the Balcón de Europa and calle Cristo were fairly busy, people wandering, shopping or partaking of refreshments. Los Barriles, El Pulguilla and the Round Bar were particularly packed.
Out and About, June 2nd 2013…
A glorious sunny day, the sea was as flat as a pancake and there were quite a few people down on the beach, some looking extremely red…shiny red…painful red…ouch.
