There were just a few people sunbathing on Carabeo beach today and a few venturing into the water on Calahonda beach. Glorious weather once again, glad the rain has generally been at night.

Plaza de la Ermita and Plaza Cantarero
Quite a few workmen busy in Plaza Cantarero on Wednesday as the square slowly begins to take shape. On the other hand, no-one working in Plaza de la Ermita.

Plaza de la Ermita, February 23rd 2010
Nothing much happening in Plaza de la Ermita after the initial, late flurry of activity. It is all dug up, but no further progress since then. Presumably the company is working on several projects at the same time without sufficient labour to maintain activity on all sites at the same time.
Plaza de la Ermita, February 15th 2010
Work on Plaza de la Ermita has finally started and the whole square has now been dug up, including the old fountain, ready for the next stage of the project.
Plaza progress
Both Plaza Cantarero (Orange Square) and Plaza de la Ermita were closed off four days ago ready for the renovations – rebuilding – of these squares. In Plaza Cantarero, almost half of the tiles have already been dug up and piled neatly around the square.
More building works
Both Plaza Cantarero (Orange Square) and Plaza de la Ermita are now sealed off ready for the start of renovation work, adding to the vast number of building projects currently in progress.
