Council seeks solution to problem of storm water from the highway
The Councillor for Infrastructure, José Alberto Tomé, has been meeting with Javier Arenas, responsible for roads at the Ministry of Development, to discuss possible solutions to the problem of rain and storm water from the highway.
Financial aid for storm damage in the Axarquia
The Junta de Andalucia has estimated damage to roads and farms in the Axarquia as a result of the recent rains at €2.6 million.
Rain expected throughout Andalucia
All provinces in Andalucia with the exception of Almeria are on alert for wind and rain today, with up to 80 litres per square metres expected in some areas, particularly along the Costa del Sol and inland around Ronda and Antequera.

Rain set to return
After a brief respite, albeit cold, the rains and high winds are expected to return to much of Andalucia today with the eastern areas being particularly badly hit. Twenty major roads in Andalucia remain closed as a result of flooding and landslides.
