Calle Granada is closed to through traffic as the bottom end near Plaza Cavana has been dug up again as part of the ongoing renovations in the square. Traffic entering calle Diputación from avenida Castilla Perez can only exit via calle El Barrio and back onto avenida Castilla Perez.
A-387 in Alhaurín el Grande closed to traffic
The A-387 between Alhaurín el Grande and the Puerto de los Pescadores roundabout will be close to traffic as from today and will remain closed for about two months due to major roadworks.

The A-7053 connecting the Valle del Guadalhorce and the Costa del Sol via the Puerto de los Pescadores in the Entrerríos of Mijas could reopen to traffic towards the end of the year.
Calle Granada still closed
Quite a large trench edging its way up calle Granada at the moment, all part of the Plaza Cavana redevelopment project. Most of the square itself has now been filled in, but still a fair way to go before completion.

Work on the Balcon de Europa continues, slowly but surely. The surface is gradually becoming usable again and it shouldn’t be too long before this stretch is completed.
