This week sees the completion of the works in calle Sagasta in the centre of Torre del Mar, a project costing €103,000 and involving the total redevelopment of the street and replacement of all underground infrastructure.

The roadworks in calle Granada look like they are coming to a successful conclusion so the street should be open to through traffic fairly shortly. Strange signs, think they just grabbed whatever was available. The first one is just daft in a closed road, the third makes no sense and the second was redundant for half of the morning.
Restricted traffic flow in calle Granada
Calle Granada is currently closed to through traffic due to roadworks being carried out just above the car park exit. These are not major works and shouldn’t take too long by the looks of it, maybe one more day maximum.
Roadworks on the A-7204
The A-7204 between Venta Baja and Colmenar will be closed to traffic between 07:00 and 22:00 on Monday December 10th as work is being carried out to repair damage caused by recent landslides. The work will be at km 10.700 between Periana and Mondrón and traffic will be diverted via the A-356 and A-402.
Upcoming roadworks in Torre del Mar, Almayate and Vélez
In the coming weeks, work is expected to start on renovations to calle Infantes in Torre del Mar, calle Cristo del Cerro in Vélez-Málaga and calle Camelia in Almayate, the cost of the works being €485,000 and financed, quite logically, under the Program for the Development of Agricultural Employment (Profea).
Roadworks begin in calle Chaparil, Nerja
Work has started on renewing the paved areas at the bottom of calle Chaparil, a €125,000 project with a completion period of four months. The trees have been given a slight trim before being transferred to their new location.

Ronda Council has started the remodelling of avenida de Málaga, the principal arterial road in the town, a project which will cost in the region of €500,000.

The Council has approved the project to complete the works in calle El Barrio and the junction with avenida Castilla Perez and calle Antonio Millón and is currently working on the specifications.
