Rise in unemployment in Ronda

Unemployment in Ronda rose by 113 in November, bringing the official total jobless figure to 4,441. Of these, 2,374 are men and 2,067 are women.

Parliamentary exhibition in Ronda

The Sala de Exposiciones in the Santo Domingo convent in Ronda is home to a travelling exhibition entitled ‘The Parliament of Andalucia’. The exhibition runs until next Saturday and is open from 11:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 20:00 each day.

Ronda hospital getting back to normal

A new anesthesiologist joined the staff at Ronda Hospital yesterday and this means that the hospital will get back to normal after a week in which 50 operations were suspended due to lack of anesthesia. The Málaga Medical Association, however, believes that one more staff member is still required.

Operations postponed in Ronda Hospital

The delegate for the Medical Association of Málaga (SIMM) in Ronda, Cristóbal Avilés, stated that five operations were postponed at the hospital yesterday as a result of a shortage of anesthesiologists.
