Santa Claus arrived in town and began his trek, complete with abundant little helpers, through the streets, hurling boiled sweets with appropriate venom.

With the customary military precision we have all come to expect and accept, the five o’clock Santa procession set off from the Town Hall in calle Carmen at exactly five twenty-eight, a small crowd gathered on the Balcón de Europa in anticipation of being bombarded with boiled sweets. And they were not disappointed.
Santa, Yorkies and spuds…
I though I’d seen it all with a Yorkie attired in a hoodie, but how wrong can one be? Well, a multi-coloured knitted body suit, complete with leggings and a separate matching bobble hat is the answer. Amazing.

The Santa Claus procession takes place today from 19:00 and follows the route: Town Hall, calle Carmen, Pintada, Angustias, Ermita, Granada, Cavana and back to the Balcón de Europa. Christmas lights and Santa Claus
Official Christmas lights only in the main squares of Nerja this year, and a lot less of them, due to a desire by the Council to save money. Santa Claus will, however, still be making his way around town on December 23rd.
