Around 550 schools in Andalucia may experience problems at the beginning of the new academic year on September 10th as a result of the Junta de Andalucia not paying its bills.
Early introduction to music
A number of music and music and movement teachers in Nerja, under the direction of Fernando J. Laguna from the Municipal School of Music, have been giving a series of one hour concerts and talks at local schools for pupils aged between three and five years.
Two schools robbed in Vélez-Málaga
Police are investigating two separate robberies at the La Gloria and El Romeral schools in Vélez-Málaga in which laptops, computer equipment and electrical goods and around €2,200 in cash was stolen. The robberies took place on Thursday.
