A 48 year old employee of Aparcamientos Urbanos de Sevilla S.A. (Aussa) died this morning in Sevilla after being run over by his own crane.

Sixth heat stroke victim

A 38 year old man in Sevilla has become the sixth heat stroke fatality of the summer in Andalucia. He was admitted to the Hospital Virgen Macarena on Wednesday August 25th after suffering prolonged exposure to the heat but died on Sunday.

Police investigating body in box

Police in Sevilla are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in an electricity supply box in the Sevilla Este district of the town. The body was discovered after local residents reported a bad smell in the area.

Bank robbery in Sevilla

At midday yesterday a robber entered a branch of the Cajasol bank in calle Fray Marcos de Niza in the Santa Clara district of Sevilla and fled with an estimated €6,000 in cash.

Missing girl found safe and well

The 14-year-old girl who was reported missing in the Martínez Montañés district of Sevilla has been found safe and well at the home of a friend in the Tres Mil Viviendas district. Police, family and neighbours had been conducting a search for the girl.

Floods in Algámitas, Sevilla

Storms last night caused the arroyo  Ballesteros in Algámitas, Sevilla, to overflow, with several cars being swept away and homes being flooded. The Fire Brigade had to rescue several people who were trapped in their homes.
