The website of the Archdiocese of Sevilla, http://www.archisevilla.org/ was ‘ hacked ‘ on Sunday morning, a message being left behind which read’ God does not exist ‘. The hacker used the nickname ‘M4ns0nHack’.
Protest against bullfighting
Around 300 protesters gathered near La Maestranza, Sevilla, to demand the abolition of bullfighting. The protests coincide with the start of the Feria de Abril (April Fair) in the city.

Fire forces evacuation of 100 families
Nearly 100 families have been evacuated from an eight storey building in San Juan de Aznalfarache, Sevilla, after fire badly damaged to apartments and caused structural damage to the entire block.
Factory closure
The Uralita tile factory in Alcalá de Guadaíra, Sevilla, has closed, affecting a total of nineteen employees. The company is set to close three more of its thirteen factories in Spain, namely in Alfaro (La Rioja), Monjos (Barcelona) and Zambrana (Alava).
Extra lane on A-49 on April 12th
The Traffic Department (DGT) is set to open the extra lane on the A-49 on April 12th to facilitate the movement of traffic traveling from Portugal and Huelva to Sevilla.
Small child left in locked car
A 36 year old woman in Sevilla was arrested and charged with neglect after she left her three year old child locked in a car while she went for a drink.
