Following yet another change of story by the self-confessed killer of Marta del Castillo, the lawyer representing Miguel Carcaño has withdrawn from the case. Carcaño will now have to find another legal representative or one will be appointed by the court.

The youth who confessed to killing Marta del Castillo yesterday told the court that he did not in fact throw the body of the dead girl into the river but into a rubbish container near his home in calle León XIII.

The girlfriend of the youth accused of murdering teenager Marta del Castillo has been in court and has confirmed that the accused, Miguel Carcaño, confessed his involvement to her the following morning.
