Fishing vessels return home

Over 100 Spanish fishing vessels are on their way back to port following the decision by the EU not to renew the fishing agreement with Morocco. The Spanish authorities requested the boats to leave Moroccan waters by midnight on Wednesday in order to avoid any possible conflict.

IPI fell by 4.2% in October

The Industrial Production Index (IPI) fell by 4.2% in October when compared to the same month in 2010. Sectors in decline were intermediate goods, engine manufature, generators, transformers and electricity control apparatus and energy. On the rise were sectors involving the manufacture of cutlery, tools, hardware supplies, special purpose machinery and the tobacco sector.
