Easter 2014 statistics
According to the Council statisticians, hotel occupancy over Semanana Santa exceeded 95%, particularly from Thursday to Saturday when the rate hit 95.82%. During the same period last year the figure was 85.20%.
A relatively uneventful summer on the beaches
According to the Council it has been a pretty uneventful summer season on the beaches of the municipality as far as incidents are concerned, which is a good thing.
Tourist Office figures in Torremolinos
A total of 7,186 people visited the tourist offices, of which there are four, in Torremolinos during December 2012, a slight decrease compared to the previous year. The Council statisticians have been working overtime to bring us the news that 834 people visited the Tourist Office during the ‘puente’ with 559 of them being Spanish and with the busiest day being Monday December 6th with 216 visitors.
