La Línea strike is over

After four days of industrial action, refuse collectors in La Línea have resumed their duties. The Council is accusing the workers of carrying out a wildcat strike and failing to respect minimum service levels and have already stated their intention of initiating proceedings against the workers.

Strike by bus drivers in Granada

Strike action by bus drivers in Granada has started with around 50% of the workforce answering the call for industrial action. The strike affects the urban bus network in Granada with a minimum service of 30% being provided. Further partial strikes, between the hours of 06:00 and 11:00, will begin on Monday and continue on alternate days until February 20th.

Strike called in olive oil industry in Jaén
