Local Police in Benalmádena have arrested three people on suspicion of stealing copper wire from within the municipality over the past few months, an act which not only inconveniences the local residents but also drains the municipal coffers.

In the period to July this year, thieves in Córdoba have so far stolen 70 kilometres of copper cable to leave several areas without street lighting.

Four arrested in Torremolinos for making false robbery claims
National Police have arrested four people in Torremolinos during the past month for making false robbery claims in order to collect the insurance money. Between them they claimed for five high-end mobile phones which they had sold prior to reporting them stolen.
