The Santa Claus procession takes place from 19:00 on December 23rd and follows the route: Town Hall, calle Carmen, Pintada, Angustias, Ermita, Granada, Cavana and back to the Balcón de Europa.

Today is the Three Kings procession, starting from the Parque Verano Azul at 17:00 and following the route – calle Jaén, Diputación, Granada, San Miguel, Plaza Cantarero, calle Pintada and on to the Balcón de Europa.
Sanlúcar la Mayor has brought forward the Three Kings procession
The Council in Sanlúcar la Mayor, Sevilla, has brought forward the Three Kings procession to Wednesday January 4th due to the forecast that there is an 80% chance of rain on January 5th, the traditional day for the procession.
All pistes open at Sierra Nevada ski resort
The Sierra Nevada ski resort in Granada opened on Monday will all pistes skiable, a total of 101 kilometres.
Gifts for families in need
The Nerja Department of Social Services has selected a total of fifty needy families in the municipality to be the beneficiaries of gifts on Three Kings Day. Young children in these families will receive their presents as from Monday. The families are those who are suffering economic hardship, particularly as a result of the economic crisis.

Saturday December 19th is Carol singing (and she has a good voice) at the Bar Barbados in calle Fray Junipero Serra. More Carols at the El Salvador Church on the Balcon de Europa on Sunday December 20th at 17:00.
