Torrecilla beach has once again been awarded ‘Q for Quality’ status by the Instituto de Calidad Turística Española. The award is given for a two year period. Other recipients in Nerja include Burriana beach and the Tourist Office.

Torrecilla and Burriana beaches both have ‘library’ facilities once again for the summer season as well as other activities for the kids.
Beach weather…
Busy on the beaches today, and a lot of red bodies around! There were even a few on El Chucho beach, despite it resembling a building site. Very good turnout on Torrecilla beach.
El Chucho, Torrecilla and the Paseo de los Carabineros
The Mayor, José Alberto Armijo and the Councillor for Beaches, Jonathan Méndez, traveled to Málaga for a meeting with the head of the Department of Coasts, Francisco Hermoso, to discuss various outstanding projects.
Two biblioplayas for Nerja
During the months of July and August, Burriana and Torrecilla beaches in Nerja will once again have Biblioplayas (beach libraries).
