Vélez-Málaga Council provides building for AFADAX

Vélez-Málaga Council has provided AFADAX, the Association of Relatives of Sufferers of Alzheimers and other Dementias, with premises to be used as a headquarters and future day care centre. The building, in calle Francisco Labao Gámez, is 228 square metres and has been adapted to meet the needs of the association.

Fruit thieves apprehended

The national Police in Vélez-Málaga have arrested two people, aged 21 years and 28 years, on suspicion of stealing 5,300 kilos of tropical fruits from farms in Valle Niza and along the Carretera de Cajiz.
